Ronald McDonald House

March 2023

Panthers Select 12U collected donations for the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA. The collected items are for the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald House and include small comforts like individually wrapped snacks, juice boxes, travel size toiletries and more.

The Ronald McDonald House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest.

Pinwheels For Prevention

February 2023

Panthers Select 10U assembled over 4,000 pinwheels for the York Children's Advocacy Center. The girls will help to place the pinwheels around the community in April for National Child Abuse Prevention month.

York County Children’s Advocacy Center mission is to reduce the trauma of child abuse investigations, foster professional collaboration and cooperation and promote education and advocacy regarding the prevention of child abuse within the community.

#operationopenacan

December 2022

Have you ever donated canned goods for a good cause? Many of the homeless or less fortunate do not have access to can openers to go with the canned goods they receive from local agencies. Panthers Select 14U collected new can openers to donate to the Central PA Food Bank.

Over Christmas break, the team was able to get together and drop off the can openers that were collected.

They were given a tour of the warehouse in Harrisburg and learned about the different agencies that help serve 27 counties in Central PA from the NY state border down to the MD state border.

The team ended up collecting 141 can openers that the food bank will use when emergency food kits are given out.

The Hex Hollow Half Marathon

November 2022

Panthers Select 14U gathered in the cold to volunteer at the Hex Hollow Half Marathon, which raises money for Olivia’s House. The team arranged the food and cheered on runners as they battled the cold and wind on their journey.

Olivia’s House is an organization of care giving professionals and volunteers committed to supporting grieving children. Its purpose is to facilitate healing through grief and loss education.

Leg Up Farms Volunteer Work

November 2022

Panthers Select 16U spent their Saturday at Leg Up Farms and cleaned kick walls, ledges and windowsills in the indoor arena, scrubbed walls in all of the grooming stalls, swept and removed cobwebs from the entire barn and more. The team also got a chance to meet all of the horses and even feed some of them.

Leg Up Farm’s mission is to enrich the lives of individuals and families with special needs and unique challenges, through support and customized programs.

Supporting Local

We strive to establish and maintain strong relationships with local vendors within the Central PA region. These relationships are built on trust, respect and the betterment of our athletes.
